Delete your LowSpoons account

In the app
This is the fastest way, and it happens straight away.
- Open LowSpoons. On Home, tap the profile button at the top right.
- You're on Your plan. Scroll down to Account and tap Delete account.
- If you have a plan that renews, the app asks you to cancel it first. Tap Cancel my plan, or Delete anyway.
- Tap Delete my account to confirm. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more.
You're signed out and your account is gone. This can't be undone.
By email
If you can't open the app any more, email hello@lowspoons.app from the address you signed up with, or tell us that address if you used Apple or Google to sign in. Say you want your account deleted. We'll check it's you, delete it, and reply within 7 days to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details
- Your kitchen, safe foods, recipes, meal plan and grocery list
- Your preferences and onboarding answers
- Your chat history and voice session records
- Any scan photos we kept from testing
- The device tokens we use to send you notifications
- The link to Sign in with Apple, if you used it (we revoke it with Apple)
What we keep
- Usage counts. We keep counts of how much AI each request used, for costs and abuse limits, with your account ID removed from them.
- Reports you sent. If you reported an AI answer from the app, we keep that report, with your account ID on it, so we can review it and improve the app.
- Analytics. Our product analytics (PostHog) keeps a profile of how the app was used, and our AI monitoring (Langfuse) keeps records of AI requests. Deleting your account doesn't remove these on its own.
- Purchase records. RevenueCat, which checks subscriptions for us, keeps a record of any purchase, and Apple and Google keep their own. We can't delete Apple's or Google's.
- AI providers. The AI services we send photos, text and voice to may keep copies for a while under their own terms.
- Backups. Our server backups can hold a copy of your data for up to 14 days before they're replaced.

Subscriptions
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Apple and Google bill you, not us, so cancel it first, or it keeps renewing:
- iPhone: App Store subscriptions
- Android: Google Play subscriptions
